Celtic write to Scottish FA for clarity over Hampden handball - STV News

Inverness CT's Josh Meekings (6) appears to handle a header from Leigh Griffiths.Celtic write to Scottish FA for clarity over Hampden handball | Celtic | Sport:

Celtic have written to the Scottish FA to "seek an understanding" of the decision not to give a penalty for Josh Meekings' handball in Sunday's Scottish Cup semi-final defeat.
The Inverness CT defender blocked Leigh Griffiths' header just before half-time of the crunch match with the Scottish champions leading 1-0.
Leigh Griffiths claims he was told by referee Steven McLean he didn't award a spot-kick on the advice of his assistant Alan Muir. The goal-line official is said to have ruled the ball hit defender Josh Meekings' face not his arm.
